We all have places we’d like to visit – if only they weren’t so darn dangerous, or so darn difficult to get there. If You Only Had The Guts To Do It, Where Would You Go?
Scary and dangerous are two adjectives most travelers are eager to avoid. Still, whether through accident, complacence, ignorance or just plain bad luck many of us have found ourselves in scary and/or dangerous situations when on the road.
Lots of people love animals. Doesn’t mean they love the zoo. You might love fried chicken and hate KFC restaurants. Most of you reading this love to travel. But how do you feel about airports?
Prior to reading this thread I did not know that Russia was the only country with a bigger land mass than Canada. I also did not know that Canadians had built a trail system that allows anyone to walk, jog or bike the full length of said land mass.
The United States is known for a lot of things, but its amazing passenger rail system isn’t one of them. At least not since the late 19th/early 20th century, and not in comparison to some other countries.
