Imagine two restaurants right next door to each other. They are identical in every way except one – one is traditional in that you are expected to tip the waitstaff; the other adds 20% to the price of the food and you are not expected to tip. To which establishment would you choose to give your business?

Pretty much the entire globally frequent flying world would agree that U.S. carriers offer the lowest quality in-flight product. But Ed Perkins believes U.S. carriers premium economy products are a good value.

3. Be Wary of Starwood’s “If Only” Starpoint Earnings Totals

According to some Milepoint members, Starwood’s method of tabulating a member’s Starpoint earnings might not exactly meet with standard accounting best practices. And if you aren’t careful, this accounting discrepancy could leave a bad taste in your mouth.
