According to Kerry Segrave in “Tipping: An American Social History of Gratuities”, the practice of tipping likely originated in Europe and eventually made its way over to the U.S. Now, centuries later, it seems some Americans can’t wrap their heads around why Europeans are so “stingy”.

Greece has been a bit under the gun the last several years. But financial difficulties aside, Greece is still clearly a country with a lot going for it. In fact, Greece has at least 49 things going for it according to BuzzFeed’s Alexander Besant.
