Just Another Spiritual Points Traveler?

Ok, let’s get something straight. I like my fellow BoardingArea blogger, Angelina Aucello – author of the Just Another Points Traveler blog. Though we have never met in person, we have exchanged many an email over the years and she’s good people.

Just recently, however, I learned that Angelina believes in ghosts. Believes she saw one recently in fact, at the Grand Hyatt Taipei.

out of the corner of my eye I see an apparition manifesting. I was too afraid to turn towards it, but telepathically I was able to know that it was of a young 20-something girl.

And so, Angelina – babe – I’m sorry, but good people or not I’m going to have to reassign you to my “nuttier than a coach cabin in the 80s” category. To prevent too many people from learning of your recently revealed nuttiness factor though, I’m posting this on July 4th – a day when traffic to this blog is anticipated to be non-existent.

You’re welcome.

Angelina isn’t alone. A few of the commenters on Angelina’s blog also appear to be hanging out with the almonds and cashews in the snack aisle.

A friend of mine had a ghost in her hotel room in Savannah, GA (can’t remember which hotel it was, unfortunately). She even got pictures of it with her iPhone. ~RMF325

I myself had a mild experience with the ghostly. Was staying at a serviced apartment in Melbourne when I saw a dark apparition briefly moving from the apartment hallway into the toilet/bathroom … Happened very quickly, and an hour before sunrise. Was so sure of what I saw because I never felt more awake at that time, as I woke up about 15 minutes before I saw that, because I personally felt something was not right. ~Sang Kancil Guru

take a shower and when i come out, the sheets are a mess, my luggage is completely on the other side of the room (still packed nicely though) and I cant find my effing shoes. … I was too tired to care and since nothing was missing, I went to sleep. When I wake up, the luggage is back in the area is originally was and the shoes are in the shower stall. i cant figure it out and havent til this day. but i havent stayed in there since. screw hyatt points. not worth it. Been staying at the Westin ever since. ~sam

Well, ok. Who am I to label all these nutjobs as crazy. Maybe there really are haunted places. I mean, I suppose they wouldn’t make so many movies about something that wasn’t true.

What do you think? Do you believe in ghosts. Would you avoid staying at a hotel, or a hotel chain, based on a haunting? Or would you seek something like that out?

Be sure and let Angelina know – either by commenting on her post, or via telepathy – your choice.

  1. Angelina posts a lot of original, helpful content – what exactly do offer? Posts of other people’s posts?

Thanks, but can do without a lot of these nonsense ‘filler’ bloggers like yourself here on the Boarding Area.

  2. I hope Angelina gets that I’m just poking a little fun with this post. And for anyone who doesn’t get that, I certainly would agree that my seeming intolerance would say more about me than the believers.
